Remamed ‘Southern Masked Weaver’. These birds are common in Southern Africa. The males are distinctve yellow and black when breeding. Masked Weavers are found almost everywhere where there are trees. In gardens they use exotic trees for nests, stripping the leaves off the branch from which they hang woven nests. They eat seeds, insects, soft fruit, flowers and food scraps.
